Joining

Membership is by invite only. This is to avoid trolls and ensure that our members are trustworthy.
If you are invited, you will always be eligible to join, unless otherwise started. You do not have to accept a membership immediately.
You do not have to have a character account to become a member. If you'd like to be a part of the group, but do not consistently RP as a specific character, you do not have to sign up for a character account. You can join with your main account, but you will not be featured on the character list.
Your membership may be revoked at any time if you cause trouble by:
- being rude to the other members
- spamming the group with non-RP related art or journals
- sexually harassing other members
- treating other members poorly because of race, religion, sexual orientation, or for any other reason
- spamming members
- harassing members on their main accounts (And believe me, I will know if you do...)
If you break any of the rules, you may be warned, suspended, or banned.

Your account will be set up by the moderators.
We sometimes accept pre-made RP account. Ask if you have one you'd like to join with.
You may switch accounts once a month if you wish. Simply fill out an application the same way you would for a new character.
If you wish to play an account that is premade and open, simply fill in an application for that account.
You may have up to five cannon RP accounts.
OC RP accounts are unlimited.
You should wait a month between applications.
If you left an account at some point, and desire to play it once again, you may reapply for it, if it is open.

Submitting

Members my submit RP related art at any time without limits.
Members can submit non-RP related art once a day (pending).
Non-Members may submit art related to out characters any time without limits, but must first be approved by the mods (pending).
Art must be within DA's gaudiness.
Gore is acceptable, but must have a mature filter.
Sexual situations and nudity are acceptable, but must have a mature filter (possible acceptations for reference pages).
Art that is purposefully aggressive towards any group or individual is not acceptable.
- This rule is a bit complicated, because we know different people find different things offensive. So, if it is determined by the moderators that a work is meant to be hurtful towards anyone, it will not be allowed. However, works featuring opinions (so long as they have purpose and are related to the work) are allowed. And works that feature characters being judgmental or making offensive jokes are accepted. We understand that characters are not perfect and are sometimes close-minded. However, we ask that you respect the line between fiction and the people behind the characters. Do not glorify poor behavior. If your work seems as if it is trying to be hurtful or is over-pushing an addenda, it will be expelled from the group.

RP Guidelines

General RP Rules
Mature RPs are accepted, but if you wish to do something above the R rating, we ask that you kindly take it somewhere private.
If someone wishes to discontinue an RP, we ask that you please respect that and do not harass them.
Always ask the person you are RPing with if they are okay with the content of the RP you wish to do.
If you are RPing an antagonist or a rude character, please understand the limits of your partner.
If you are RPing WITH an antagonist or rude character, please understand that your partner is not attacking you personally. It's just part of the "show."
If someone becomes uncomfortable with an RP, please respect them and either change the content or discontinue.
If you are uncomfortable with an RP you are involved in, please speak up and let your partner know.
You may RP with people from outside the group, so long as their group (if they belong to one) allows it.
Any RP style is accepted (paragraph, script, text/typing, etc.). But please, try to use clear English when RPing in this group. It is fine if English is not your first language, or if your character speaks more than one language. But just make sure that whoever you're RPing with can understand you.

Cannon Characters
It's preferred that you play according to the cannon of the story you are RPing for, but it's not necessary that you be strict. However, try to stay-in character in terms of personality and conduct as much as possible, unless there is a reason for your character to be active differently.
If you decide to switch or leave your character, the account will be made open for other members to RP.
If your cannon RP account goes dormant for over a month, you will be sent a message asking if you wish to keep the account. If it remains dormant, or if you fail to respond to the message, the account will be made open for other members.
You may let your account go dormant if you give us notification of your absence beforehand. The account will not be made open if you notify us of the absence.
If you leave the group or are kicked out, your cannon RP account will be kept by the group and made open for other members.

OCs
You may develop your character as you please. You do not need to notify the mods or ask permission if you wish to make changes to your character.
If you wish to leave your character, and do not wish to return, the RP account will be deleted.
We will not open your OC account if it is made dormant.
If you leave the group or are kicked out, your OC account may either be deleted or released to your care.
